I work with organizations as they communicate about their brands, commitments, milestones, and crises.

I have helped organizations with their "long-form pubic relations" for over 30 years -- the articulation of institutional mission, the communication of brand attributes, their corporate social responsibility campaigns, and their navigation through institutional transitions and crises.

Since 2012, I have worked through Franklin Walton LLC. My current assignments include communications research and strategy for global non-profit organizations. My projects include counsel and communications support for public events in New York, Honolulu, Tokyo, and Nairobi; project management for communications research, documentary film, book publishing, and web publishing initiatives; and social media strategy and community management services.

I am actively involved in public relations research and education through engagements with the Institute for Public Relations, the PRSA Foundation, and City College of New York.
